Making The Mummy (1999) sounds like it was almost as dangerous as the movie itself.
They couldn’t film in Egypt due to political unrest, so production moved to Morocco, where temperatures reportedly reached 130°F.
And that wasn’t even the worst part.
The crew built massive sets in the desert… only to discover the area was full of venomous snakes.
Filming had to be paused multiple times so snake wranglers could safely remove them from set.
Between extreme heat, dangerous wildlife, and brutal conditions, this movie was basically an adventure on and off screen.
